AUTUMN

Oh, Autumn dear, we love you so,
Much more that you will ever know.

Your face, the sun which shines so bright
Gives us hope and the will to fight.

Yours arms, the branches of the trees
All waving at us as though to tease..

Your lovely hair of gold and brown,
Are the leaves, gently tumbling down.

With your halo of clouds so white
We stand in awe at this great sight.

Your kiss a balmy breeze divine
Will linger into Wintertime.

Oh, Autumn dear, before you go
We’ll tell you now – we’ll miss you so!
